Your
Special Day captured on DVD - Somerset and surrounding
area
Equipment
The main camera that will be used to film your Wedding Day is a Sony DCR-VX2100
3CCD Digital Video Camera, which has been selected for its outstanding quality and excellent
low-light performance.
If the venue permits, a second unmanned static camera will also
be used to provide an alternative view during the ceremony and reception. This is a Sony DCR-TRV900 3CCD
Digital Video Camera.
The sound for the vows and speeches will (in addition to the microphones on
the cameras) also be digitally recorded using a microphone close to the Bride and
Groom. A lapel microphone is normally used for the vows, and for the
speeches a microphone would normally be positioned on the top table.
The video will be edited using non-linear digital video editing software to
maintain the digital quality.
Format
Your DVDs will be produced in Standard Definition PAL format, fully authored with a menu, scene selection and
stereo sound (AC-3).
The aspect ratio of the finished video can be 4:3 (for older TVs) or 16:9
(wide screen).
DVD compatibility
There are two main types of DVD that can be used. These are called
DVD-R and DVD+R. Some DVD players are fussy about which type they will
play, so we will normally supply your DVDs on a mixture of media types. If you find that
a DVD does
not play properly, we will supply the alternative media type at no extra charge, on return of the original.
